Lift Maintenance
The importance of lift maintenance is to facilitate a safe, reliable service and to extend the life of your lift.

Summit Elevators have a wealth of experience in maintaining all types and makes of lift and can offer tailor made contracts to suit your needs.

Our engineers' service routes are carefully planned and managed to ensure that they have adequate time to carry out a proper planned preventative service rather than a reactive one. They will inspect, clean, lubricate and adjust all the relevant components of your equipment to achieve optimum performance from your lift at all times. A service supervisor is appointed to act as your one point of contact for all your lift requirements and ensure you receive a consistently high level of service.

Our service department can process service documentation swiftly from data sent by our field operatives via state of the art digital pen technology. There is no longer a requirement for engineers to waste time traveling into our office’s to deliver

paperwork and this means that more time can be spent servicing lifts.  Another significant benefit utilising this system, is unlike hand held PDA’s we provide our clients with paper copies of all service documentation.

Our service management software enables close monitoring of all lift activities, whilst allowing us to focus on our core business.

We wil carry out Supplementary Tests on your lift installation in accordance with the guidance notes set out by the Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed). These tests are not a statutory requirement, however they are the only physical means of ensuring key safety devices fitted to your lift are operating as designed. We will inform you when these tests are due and keep a record of when they were last tested.

Each service contract is individually designed to suit each client's needs, so please contact us to discuss your specific maintenance requirements.
