Lift Refurbishment
A cost-effective alternative to purchasing a brand new elevator is to have your existing model expertly refurbished-a process that could add years to the life of your lift and significantly improve its performance. This is achieved by renewing key components, notably worn and obsolete relay control panels, gearboxes, hydraulic power units and door operators. New microprocessor variable frequency drives offer soft stopping, improve floor levelling and provide smooth acceleration from zero to full running speed and vice-versa. Door operation can also be controlled using variable frequency technology.

We will survey and assess the current condition of your elevator and provide a proposal free of charge to modernise worn and obsolete equipment. We will arrange a timescale for the refurbishment of your unit and complete the project to an exceptional standard of quality and safety, within the time and budget we agreed.

Summit Elevators use commercially available equipment recommended by lift consultants which offer the following benefits, reliability, value for money, ease of servicing and readily available spares. The equipment we use does not require specialist test tools for maintenance.

Summit Elevators - Finance
Companies have traditionally had limited options when it comes to the acquisition of business equipment - either dipping into cash reserves or drawing on available bank facilities. That is why Summit Elevators have selected Tower to provide leasing services to our clients. You can find out more about Tower at their website www.towerleasing.co.uk

Leasing Options
Increasingly leasing is becoming the finance option of choice. Its primary attraction is that you can swap one substantial cash outlay for fixed, monthly payments - so you can have what you want, when you want it, in a fast, fuss-free leasing agreement that is designed specifically for your business.

Lease V’s Buy
One misconception that leasing still suffers from is that it is not cost-effective, in addition to the benefits leasing brings it competes very well in simple monetary terms. Customers need to understand that leasing can indeed prove its case on cost-effectiveness grounds.

Benefits of Leasing

  • Get equipment when you need it, not only when budgets allow
  • Safeguard cash flow and cash reserves with a tailored payment plan rather than making one outright cash purchase
  • Make budgeting simpler with fixed payments for the term of the lease
  • Offset 100% of the rentals against your tax liability to maximise tax efficiency
  • Exploit leasing's affordability to get more than originally budgeted for
  • Preserve banking facilities and other lines of credit
